Sangho Lee, born in 1986 in Changwon, South Korea, studied from 2005 to 2015 majoring in piano and correpetition at the Korean National University of Arts in Seoul. After graduation he came to Germany, where he studied correpetition as well as chamber music from 2015 to 2018 at the Folkwang University of Arts in Essen with Prof. Xaver Poncette and Prof. Thomas Ludes. In Korea he was awarded the 2nd prize at the Korean Liszt Music Competition and won the „Best Duo“ prize in the music competition of „Deutschland Lieder e.V.“. He also had the chance to accompany the masterclass of Prof. Helmut Deutsch. During his master studies, he worked at the Folkwang University of Arts as an assistent répétiteur. After completing his studies, he was engaged as a répétiteur at the Swiss Opera Studio in Bern University of Arts. He has performed in concerts at the Philharmonie Essen, Schloss-Dürrenmungenau, Kloster Heisterbach, Theater Hagen, Theater Rudolstadt, Theater Biel, Seoul Arts Center, Kumho Art Hall in South Korea and Tianjin Grand Theater in China.
